Sullivan, Shearin & Company is the oldest continually operating firm in Greenville.  The firm began as John C. Proctor & Company in 1939 and has evolved over the years to Sullivan, Shearin & Company.  We continue to strive to provide outstanding service to our clients through professionalism and quality personal service and to maintain the respect we have earned in the Greenville and Pitt County area for nearly 78 years.

We have 16 employees of which 8 are CPA’s. We provide a full range of services including audits, reviews and compilations; business and individual tax planning; corporate, partnership, and individual tax return preparation; monthly bookkeeping; payroll services; and estate, fiduciary, and gift tax returns preparation. Our auditing services encompass employee benefit plans, small businesses, and non-profits.

All of our CPAs are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
